Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles)

Ear candles have been used for many centruries. They were traditionally used by Shaman healers and the Hopi Indians of North Arizona during healing rituals and ceremonies to cleanse and remove negative energies from the body as well as to assist physical cleansing and healing for ears, nose and throat conditions.

Ear candling is today used all around the globe and in Germany medical students learn candling as part of their training.

The candles we use today in Europe are usually made from organically grown flax impregnated with beeswax, honey and herbs.

Other Therapies #02How do the candles work?

When the candles are lit and placed in the ear, herbal vapours are drawn upwards, warming the pores of the auditory canal and gently softening the ear wax. The gentle heat and vacuum sensation drawss any softened wax and debris, such as yeas, dry skin cells, dust etc. up into the candle.

The gentle draw, or vacuum sensation of the candling treatment plays an important part in clearing the sinuses and nasal cavities. They will aslo help to open the Eustacian tubes, encouraging trapped fluid and debris to drain away.

Another advantage of the candles is that they stimulate the peripheral lymph system and enable the immune system to function better.

    Bio-energy Detox Spa

The bio-energy detox system is an ergonomically designed foot spa with a microprocessor-controlled electronic array.

    How toxins build up

Our body uses electrical impulses from the brain to function and the cells in our body produce bio-energy. When this energy level is high the cells function properly. Nutritional absorption takes place and toxins are discharged. However, when we get overly stressed or ill our cells are affected, the bio-energy level is dramatically reduced and the cells cannot function at their best to enable efficient release of toxins.

    How does it work?

The Bio-energy Detox process works by electrifying the salt water solution in the foot spa, which has a positive, balancing effect on the body. The client places his/her feet in the spa and relaxes for 30 minutes whilst the array does the work. As waste leaves the body via the sweat glands it is clear but it reacts with the water, which causes the change in colour.

    What are the benefits?

  • Helps the body to rebalance and release toxins
  • Can help to improve cirulation
  • Clients can experience a deep sense of relaxation
  • Clients can feel revitalised and energised following a treatment
  • Clients have reported feeling rejuvinated physically and having an improved mental clarity following treatment.
